Commissioned by Park Hyatt Maldives, the Jagat team was tasked with creating a suite of new stills and film collateral that placed nature at its heart. With the ocean as a living, breathing presence shaping every guest experience - from local traditions to service - the concept of Living Island became the creative foundation. This vision highlights the island’s raw beauty and fosters deep connections between people, nature, and self.
Visually, Nurtured Presence is brought to life through intimate, textured imagery that evokes a sense of care and belonging, while the films explore human connection through the voices of the sea, the island, and its guardians. Each narrative takes viewers on a journey of freedom, discovery, and renewal, offering a moment to return to what brings peace – to feel nurtured and fully present.
The Three Films:
- A couple’s journey, narrated by the ocean itself as they embrace the rhythm of the sea, doubled as a brand film for the property.
- An intergenerational family film, told through the voice of a local custodian reflected on the island’s deep significance.
- A story centred on an Asian couple, this film was guided by the island as it revealed the secluded beauty and wisdom of Hadahaa.
